This is a picture of my grand daughter and my mom. She went to visit my mom over the weekend. I can not believe how big she got just since March. Which is the last time i got to see her. I can't wait till we go back down in July and I get to snuggle her up again!

My Inchies

So one of the Yahoo groups I belong to has issued a use it up challenge. For this one the challenge was to make up to 25 inchies using scraps. Of course I made mine with the pink scraps. Since my grand-daughter was born I seem to have collected quite a lot of pink. I was not sure if I would like them but they look real cool on the pages and gives them just enough umph to stand out.

So with the prices of cigarettes raising almost daily here in NY we are quitting. I have been using my nicotine gum but not as much as I thought I would. It's very hard but it will be so much worth it in the long run. Not only the amount of money we will be saving but for our health. Wish us ongoing luck! Oh just think of all the cool scrapbook things I can get with all that money. LOL!

This is a layout I did for a challenge on one of the yahoo groups I am in. The challenge was to use the name of a T.V. show or movie for the title. I use my favorite soap "Guiding Light". It seems to fit so well for this childhood picture of my mother because she has always been my GUIDING LIGHT.
